What a great county we live in. The opportunities and freedoms that we enjoy and take for granted are those that citizens of other countries could only dream of. The simplest of things in our everyday lives are those things that I want to give thanks for on this day. Things that we don't think about until we don't have them anymore. The air we breathe, sight to see, clean water to drink, and enough food on the table. Even here in the United States, these simple things that we take advantage of may not be easily accessible to others, and for that, I am grateful to have these simpler things in life.
I am thankful for relationships and friendships that I share with so many. Especially my beautiful wife, Megan, and her love and support. She is so patient and supports my dreams and goals.
I am thankful for advancements in the technology and medical fields. Technological advancements that help us keep in touch easier. Medical Advancements that cure diseases and save lives.
I am thankful for the Armed Forces that help preserve the freedoms of this country. I greatly respect and admire those that have given their lives for this country. To those serving our country in other lands (friendly or hostile), I say, "Be safe and, please come home."
This is not ALL that I'm thankful for, it is just what has been on my mind lately. I want to also say thanks for reading, "Dear Diary - Life and the Pursuits of Curtis Armstrong".
