Updates from Metropolis

I've been into watching Smallville lately.  Smallville Season 8 is on TV right now.  I'm only at the end of Season 3 and I am excited that I can just watch several in a row and I don't have to wait a week in between each episode.  I love that the creators of this show made Clark Kent and Lex Luthor the best of friends.  I really like Lex.  I won't give too much away but but there seems to be a little bit of tension between Clark and Lex by the end of season 3.  I wonder how much longer their 'friendship' will last.

If you like super heroes and super villains and seeing the forces of good and evil battle it out then I highly recommend this show.

On a separate note** Meg and I have been getting into this new show on Fox called "Lie to Me"

American Presidential Candidates VS. American Idol

Tonight is the big showdown between the presidential hopefuls in the Democratic Party. The debate will be broadcast from Las Vegas on MSNBC. Is it just by coincidence that the new season of American Idol is on at the exact same time? I wonder things like that? What is any of us going to do!

I will tell you what I'm going to do. Probably watch a movie or something tonight and catch the highlights of both on YouTube later this week. That's all we really need to do is just hold out for the highlights.

"Do you remember Sanjaya?" That was like forever ago. Will we be saying things like that a year from now? "Hey, do you remember that Hilary lady?" I usually don't get into politics but the Democrats have an interesting bunch running for '08. It almost seems like it would be a great premise for a really funny joke, but what would the punch line be? If you're not following me, then you've just wasted two minutes of you life that you will never get back. No, really. I don't ever feel like I'm opinionated enough to blog about politics. So I wish everyone the best in these two 'reality shows' going head to head.
