Dear Diary 2/10/09

Dear Diary,

Today was a bittersweet day. There is a new girl at this school. Her first day here was on Monday and she is already so popular. But she is the girl of my dreams! I think that her name is Megan. I was walking down the hall with my books under my arm, when I saw her surrounded by 5 or 6 guys.I guess that she has got a lot of other guys to notice her too. As I was passing the group in the hall, the books just slipped out from underneath my arm and crashed to the floor! I was so embarrased! I couldn't help but look up, I could feel every pair of eyes in that hallway staring down at me. Then she came over to me, knelt down and helped me pick up my books. As I reached for the last book, so did she and our hands touched! I AM IN LOVE!!!!! I quickly retracted my arm, not because I didn't want to feel her soft hands but perhaps it was because, I was still mortified that I had been so clumsy in front of the girl of my dreams!

I was speechless! I wanted to blurt out those three simple words, "I Love You!" but something held me back! Slightly stumbling as I stood back up, I knew that I couldn't keep standing around there like an idiot, so I gave into my first impulse and started off down the hall. I had no idea what I was doing, I knew that I just had to leave. She probably thinks that I am a complete idiot! I almost felt more embarrased for just taking off without saying a word. Well, Valentine's Day is this week but I don't think that I would have a chance with her after today. I really want to go talk to her tomorrow but I'm not sure if I'll be able to without a ton of other guys around her.
